Overview:
We are looking for dedicated volunteers to join our Volunteer STEM Summer Gala Coordinator team. This role is ideal for individuals excited to celebrate student achievements by helping plan our Pre-University STEM Innovation Program Achievement Galas.
Location: Remote – Work from anywhere with an internet connection.
Duration: 4 months – From planning to event completion.
Hours per Week: Approximately 4 hours – Flexible, with virtual meetings and independent tasks.
Program Prep Locations: University of Calgary, McMaster University, Simon Fraser University, University of Waterloo, University of Toronto
Duties:
Work with the committee to organize and plan the STEM Summer Achievement Galas.
Coordinate event logistics such as virtual platforms, schedules, and speaker arrangements.
Assist in creating engaging content to highlight student accomplishments in STEM.
Support outreach to participants, families, and sponsors for gala promotion.
Attend virtual planning meetings to ensure a successful and memorable event.
Requirements:
